Laybuy lets you receive your purchase now and spread the total cost over 6 weekly automatic interest-free payments.

You can cancel the lay-by agreement at any time before receiving the products. If you cancel the lay-by, the business must refund your deposits and all other amounts you've paid except for the termination fee.

If the due date is approaching, then you have to contact Customer Service on 0340-59 61 01 and they will help you to postpone the due date.

Due to these few reasons your payment can be declined with Afterpay.

Most of the purchases made using Afterpay will be paid in fortnightly installments. Missing installment results in a $10 fee and, if you fail to make the installment within a week, another $7 fee will be charged.

Once notified by the retailer, we will process the refund immediately and send you an email confirmation that the refund has been applied. The bank may take 5-7 business days to process the refund amount.

There are no fees for paying an item off early. Afterpay doesn't charge interest, but if you do not make a payment on time you will be slugged with a late fee.

A trader can only cancel a layby and charge you a cancellation fee if you break the agreement. If the amount you have paid isn't enough to cover the cancellation charge, the trader can recover the balance from you.

You will be prompted to make a co-payment before completing the purchase. The co-payment can be made using either a debit card or credit card at the purchase time. In-store, you can do split payments.
